Below you will find a list of our most frequently asked questions about our tours of Atlanta. If you do not see your question on here, please contact us.

This is the perfect tour for guests without a lot of time and/or for visitors to Atlanta who want to see more of the city than they ever could by walking. The cars are quiet, eco-friendly, provide for a more personal setting, and give you all the tools that you need to have a great stay in Atlanta.

Yes. ATL-Cruzers is a wonderful winter activity for all. The cars are equipped with our winter doors. The plastic sidings keeps everyone inside comfortably warm for weather 40 degrees and above.

Our tours leave from a convenient location in Downtown Atlanta but we do offer hotel pickups for an additional cost.  Hotel pickups are an additional $5 per person.  Pickups are available from downtown hotels, including but not limited to; Marriott Marquis, Hyatt Regency, Westin Peachtree Plaza, Omni Hotel, Hilton Downtown, Ellis Hotel and the Sheraton Downtown. If you are interested in a hotel pickup, please be sure to add the appropriate number of Hotel Pickup Extras to your order and select your pickup location when purchasing your tickets.

There are currently 3 ways to purchase Cruzer tickets. The only way to guarantee your seat for a specific date/time is online through our booking agent, Zerve, by clicking here, or over the phone at 1.800.979.3370 with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.   All other tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. 

1) Buy tickets online at www.zerve.com/atlcruzers. Ticketing links expire 30 minutes prior to each tour time. After that, they are available on a first come, first served basis.

Note: you do not have to print out a physical ticket; simply write down the confirmation number that is generated when you process your online order!                                                                 

2) Buy regularly priced tickets at our office located inside the Atlanta Visitors Center located at Underground Atlanta (65 Upper Alabama St).  Cash, travelers cheques and all major credit cards accepted. 

3) Buy Cruzer tickets at our ticketing booth located outside The Hilton Garden Inn at Centennial Olympic Park.  (275 Baker Street, located near the Georgia Aquarium).
 

We don't but you can.  Purchase your CityPass booklet and get five of Atlanta's top attractions at one convenient price - just $69 for adults and $49 for children (3-12). CityPASS is the best package deal and has cut the price of admission nearly in half!
 
We also sell tickets for The Inside CNN Studio Tour and The World of Coke.  Tickets may be purchased upon check-in at our office.  
 
 

Due to Georgia State child seat laws, all guests are required to be at least 8 years old or 4'9" tall in order to participate in the tour.  There are no specific weight restrictions per guest, however, the car does have a maximum weight limit and guests should keep in mind that  our electric cars are not the same size as a regular passenger car.  Based on the overall weight limit, the recommended weight per guest that will allow for everyone's comfort and safety is an average of 260 lbs.

Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded and cannot be rescheduled because your space is being guaranteed at the event.

YES! Although this is a driving tour, there will be ample opportunities for you to take pictures during the tour from the car.

We do not provide a waiting list. If a date is sold out, please check our tour calendar for available tickets on one of our other daily tours.

All tours are driving tours with opportunities for photos. The exact route of the tour sometimes varies, as we continuously look to improve and enhance the guest experience.
However, we will usually see as many of the following as possible: Georgia State Capitol, Underground Atlanta, Sweet Auburn Avenue, Martin Luther King National Site, Asa Candler Home, Atlanta's 1st Suburb from 1890, Historic Peachtree Street, Fox Theater, Margaret Mitchell House/Museum, Piedmont Park, Georgia State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Centennial Olympic Park, The Georgia Aquarium, CNN Headquarters, and The World of Coca Cola.

All of our tours are held rain or shine. In the rare event of severe inclement weather, we may be required to cancel the tour. Guests would be allowed to reschedule their tickets subject to availability.  You should still dress appropriately for the day's weather conditions as these are open-air cars and only some of our cars have roll down sides.  Before purchasing tickets, please be aware of the possible weather conditions for that day.

 

Please dress casual, comfortable, and appropriate for the different seasons in Atlanta. Please note these tours take place in open-air cars that do not have heat or air conditioning.

We are proud to say we receive excellent feedback on all of our guides! They are all friendly and love to share their knowledge about neighborhoods, restaurants, attractions and more. We’re sorry, but we cannot guarantee a particular tour guide on a specific tour.

Yes! Our guides love what they do, but researching and discovering the best of the city is expensive! Tipping is customary in the U.S. service industry and is an important component of guides’ compensation. The tip amount is at your discretion, but consider giving 15-20% for a job well done.

The maximum number of guests per car is 5 and we usually run two cars per tour. Therefore, groups of 6 or more will need to split up between two cars. On a very rare occasion, groups smaller than 6 may need to be split up as well.

Unfortunately, wheelchairs are not permitted on our tours, and strollers are not permitted, due to the size of the vehicles. These may be left at our office and picked up once the tour concludes.

Yes, we only offer tours in English at this time.

Very much so! Many of our repeat guests are natives of Atlanta. Locals often attend to learn about the neighborhood and the city in which they live.

We change the tour slightly every six to eight months. Many parts of the tour remain the same, but we do our best to improve upon and enhance the tour.

Yes, private tours for corporate functions or private events are available for groups of up to 20 people. To inquire about a private tour, please complete our private tour contact form via our website. A representative will contact you within 24 hours to inform you if the date and time requested is available.

Yes. All participants must sign a liability waiver at the start of the tour. Participants age 18 or younger must have an adult 25 years or above sign for them and participate in the ride with them. A copy of the information in the liability waiver can be found here.

There are multiple parking garages available near the meeting location. We are also conveniently located one block away from the 5 Points MARTA Station.

You can feel free to bring something of your own to eat/drink if it is neat and you're sure to remove all items from the vehicle at the end of the tour. However, alcohol is prohibited on the tour.

No, there's no opportunity for a bathroom stop during the tour. We have restrooms available for your convenience at our office and suggest that guests use these before their tour if needed.
